John C. (Clinton) Porter (1871-1959) served as Mayor (33rd) of the City of Los Angeles from 1929 until 1933.
Photograph of Mayor John C. Porter looking at objects that sit on a table at the Western Union Reunion at J. C. Sherer's home in Glendale. He stands just left-of-center and wears a white suit. He faces slightly right with his hands behind his back as he cranes his head to look at objects sitting on a table in front of him. In the foreground, it appears as though someone is hunched over in the right corner. Behind Porter a tree stands at right and another table sits directly behind him.
