- Description
- People walk down Fifth Avenue in front of the New York Public Library. They wear hats and coats. A man walks toward the camera with his hands in his pockets. A woman holds a child's hand walking away from the camera. At the left there are people standing next to a stone railing and below them is a grassy area that is lined with hedges. At the intersection, there is a street sign that reads "W 42 St." There are buses and cars on the road. Billboards on the buildings read, "The new Michelin universal tread Broadway at 57 Street" and "C. T. Silver Overland Willys Knight Peerless automobiles Broadway at 57 St." Others read, "Dr. Dadirrian's Zoolak" and another billboard for C. T. Silver. At the left, a sign in a window reads, "...millinery... [DeMast]." There are other buildings, some with spires, visible down Fifth Avenue.
