- Photograph of Chet Edgell skinning a deer in the forge house on Leslie McAfee's property. H. H. West shot the dear near Sand Canyon. Chet Edgell stands to the right of the buck he is skinning and looks towards the camera. The deer hangs upside-down from the ceiling.

- Text from negative sleeve: 416. Division Creek, 1916. Deer Hunt. I kill a dear near Sand Canyon. We drive the truck to Half Way house, get a horse and go up near Sand Canyon for deer. Had to hunt for it in dark with matches. Got it on horse and brot[sic] it to our Division creek camp. McAfee Supt of the power plant told us to move into the forge house out of the snow and cold. Chet Edgell skinning the deer in the forge room. Mrs McAfee told us to bring over the liver and she would cook u us a supper at the house, and we had a swell supper with hot biscuits and lots of honey, - and venison. 2 negatives showing Edgell skin ning the deer in the forge room.
