- Photograph, from left to right, of: Ted McClellan, Ted's son, Elizabeth West, Frances West, Glen Velzy and H. H. West standing on the rocky shore of Convict Lake. All six stand at a distance and at a lower level than the photographer. Ted, his son, Elizabeth and Frances all face the camera with their backs to the lake. Glen and H. H. face left and turn their heads to the camera. The shoreline extends from the lower left on a slight upward angle to the right where it disappears behind a small tree. The lake expands into the distance towards the base of the mountains. The opposite bank extends horizontally and disappears behind a tree in the foreground on the right. Mountainsides rise up in the background behind the lake.
