- H. H. West's grandfather, John G. Lemberger's gravestone, which reads, "John G. Lemberger, Born in Grunbach, Wurtemberg. Oct. 19, 1803. Died Oct. 23, 1872. Aged 63 yrs & 4 D's. Tho lost to sight, to memory dear." The stone behind Mr. Lemberger's reads, "Lemberger." There are trees in the background and leaves in the foreground.
