Notes
- Description
- In the foreground of this photograph, five people sit at the end of a long wood-planked bench as they put on ice skates. The bench extends from the lower-right corner towards the center of the photograph into Jackson Lake. A few people skating on Jackson Lake can be seen beyond the group in the foreground. A boy on the left walks on the icy lake towards the camera. A boy behind him and to the right stands on the ice. Another person at center bends over to tie their skate's laces and to the right of them, three others skate on the lake. In the far distance, a large pine tree rises up just behind the lake at center and extends out of the frame. A roadway sloping down to the right runs horizontally behind it and trees on the ridge beyond the road rise up in the background.
