Description: Don C. Stevens of Glendale made a record for fifty-four consecutive loops in a glider above the California Pacific International Exposition, after ascending to an altitude of 16, 000 feet.
Griebleb wearing nothing but a suit stands beside the landed plane as Stevens, dressed in pilot gear, climbs out of the glider while other spectators are visible in the background.

Griebleb, left, and Don Stevens, right, snapped immediately after Stevens had set a new world's loop record for gliders over the California Pacific International Exposition yesterday. Griebleb, of Glendale, designed and built the plane which Stevens rode to a height of 16,000 feet. Stevens made fifty-four consecutive loops in the glider before landing at Lindbergh Field.
