Don C. Stevens of Glendale made a record for fifty-four consecutive loops in a glider above the California Pacific International Exposition, after ascending to an altitude of 16, 000 feet.
Griebleb wearing nothing but a suit stands beside the landed plane as Stevens, dressed in pilot gear, climbs out of the glider while other spectators are visible in the background.

Text from newspaper caption: William G. Griebleb, left, and Don Stevens, right, snapped immediately after Stevens had set a new world's loop record for gliders over the California Pacific International Exposition yesterday. Griebleb, of Glendale, designed and built the plane which Stevens rode to a height of 16,000 feet. Stevens made fifty-four consecutive loops in the glider before landing at Lindbergh Field.
