Tabin Kato passed away Sunday at 3:45 am at the Japanese hospital after being stricken with a cerebral hemorrhage. He was a Japanese civic leader and café operator. Funeral services are held at the Nishi Hongwanji Temple and wake services at the Zenshuji Temple.
Tabin poses for the camera with several young children, possibly his own daughters and son, while they carve a bird.
