Robbers attempted to break into a drugstore at Exposition Boulevard and Vermont Avenue in the early hours of the morning when Boston terrier puppy Tumbleweed began to bark and roused nearby radio repair shop owner Roy D. Brown, who chased after the robbers and managed to shoot one in the shoulder before they escaped.
