Text from newspaper caption: No, This Is Not an Ad for Herpicide. However, as far as hirsute adornment is concerned the gentlemen shown below would certainly make a great illustration for a "Going, going gone!" advertisement. Reading from left to right, or from hair to hairless, are Oscar Reichow, vice-president of the Angels, Dave Fleming, president of the Los Angeles baseball club, and "Bald Bill" Klepper, business manager of the Seattle Indians. The photo was taken at Wrigley Field the other day when Klepper dropped down from Santa Barbara to arrange an exhibition game between the Angels and Indians. [Los Angeles Times, 12 Mar. 1934: A8]
