Text from newspaper caption: "R.F.D." -- In Which Barse Miller Turns Historian. Not all history is written. There is a history of forms, and in this picture at the Foundation of Western Art the artist has found analogous forms in three such characteristic American creations as the "Gothic" schoolhouse, the Model T and the rural mail box and recorded them with exceptional fidelity.
