- Photograph of a cabin on a hillside with trees in the background. The negative sleeve annotation dates the image to 1927 and relates it to the investigation of the murder of George Schick, a wealthy mine owner. According to a Los Angeles Times newspaper story, in 1927 human bones were found on Mount Soledad in San Diego, by a man clearing orchard land with a tractor. It was ultimately determined that the bones belonged to man taller than Schick.
