Description: Text of the press release: WATCH YOUR CREDIT --- "P & A PHOTOS" LA 14927 -- (LOS ANGELES BUREAU). WEDDING BELLS SILENT. If it is truly a woman's prerogative to change her mind, then there is some accounting for the fact that since January 1st and up to September 1st of this year, in Los Angeles, 610 marriages, the intentions of which were formally announced were reconsidered. This was out of a total of 12,697 such "intentions", according to Miss Rosamond Rice, Chief Clerk of the Marriage License Division. This is believed to be the outcome of the "Notice of Intention" marriage license law, dubbed by the irreverent the "Antigin Wedding Act" which went into effect in California August 1927.
