Related to, "Obituary: Dr. C. H. Archibald," Los Angeles Times, 3 March 1936: pg. 12
A May 27, 1937 article in the Milwaukee Journal states that Dr. Charles Harvey Archibald was a pioneer in using radiation as a medical treatment, but like many of his peers developed fatal cancer in his left arm from the affects of unprotected exposure to radiation.
