- Text from newspaper caption: Artist Seeks Film Subjects: Miss Jean Appleton, just out of Boston art school, came all the way from New York on the Grace liner Santa Ana, arriving yesterday, with just the hope she may paint oil portraits of Hollywood film celebrities.
