Handwritten on negative: Pro Game - Gilmore Stadium - Homer Griffith with ball 10-6-35
Text from newspaper caption: Homer Griffith, former Trojan satellite, is shown breaking away for a healthy chunk of yardage against the Hollywood Braves in a pro football game at the Gilmore Stadium. Hand, on the extreme right, made the tackle. Note the clipping on the left. There was no penalty on the play, however, because pro rules do not recognize such fouls. The Maroons and the Shamrocks will be the rival pro gridders in today's football offering.
