Handwritten notes on negative indicate that Beatrice Adee went from being Mrs. William T. Adee to just Mrs. Beatrice Adee. She divorced William T. Adee in May, 1935. Don Phillips, a young screenwriter, embraces her when she touches down from New York but both deny claims from the reporters in the photo that they are lovers. - Caption
