Text from newspaper caption: And the photographer took this picture to show how the popular Hollywood hurler and manager appears when you look up at him. It's Shellenback Day at Wrigley Field this afternoon and the largest crowd of the season is expected to be on hand to honor the Sheik skipper, who will pitch the second game of the double-header against the Angels [Los Angeles Times, 7 Jul. 1935: pg.21]
