Monee, a 3-year-old German shepherd, demonstrates her tricks atop the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, here on her hind legs looking over the edge of the building. Part of the famous Chinese Theatre and the Hollywood United Methodist Church are visible in the background. The dog, knowing 300 commands and signals, came to Hollywood to make her debut in the talkies.
