Bill Cronin and Frank Cox at a baseball field.
William Patrick Cronin was an American professional baseball player and manager. Although his career extended for 25 years (1923–46; 1949) he spent only two full seasons (1930–31) and parts of two others (1928–29) in Major League Baseball as a catcher for the Boston Braves.
