Grossman … and Miss Alice M. Birdsall, said to the be only woman at the head of a law office in Arizona, and a potential candidate for gubernatorial honors, were admitted to practice law in California yesterday … Asked if she thinks women are as competent in public office as men, as asserted that in many cases they are more so and predicted that some day a woman will efficiently administer the affairs of the nation as President. Miss Birdsall has practiced law for twelve years in Arizona and is the author of a bill which legitimized children born out of wedlock in that State. …
