- Description
- Photograph of adult students in a photography class. The students are seated at desks, some viewed holding cameras or with cameras placed on the desks before them. Additional students stand in the back of the class. Most of the students' attentions are directed toward a man standing next to a blackboard (presumably the instructor, Mr. Cagle). On the blackboard are driving directions the Watts Towers. Text reads: "2.00 PM... Watts Towers. Harbor Freeway. Left on Century. Right on Central 3 blocks. Left on 103rd. Right on Wilmington..." Photographed at University High School, West Los Angeles. This is a science classroom with gas outlets for bunsen burners on the desks and physics equations on the back wall.
