Handwritten text reads: 1248 Fourth Street, Santa Monica, Calif., November 23, 1943. Dear Mr. Bartlett, Have tried to reach you by phone several times but have failed each time in regards to my picture. I could use it at present and would appreciate it if you would mail or bring it buy [sic] to me. The one I brought to you to enlarge. Hope you are fine and Douglass and you are getting along alright.
