May be the same person as Eugene Harry Drake, resident of Santa Monica.
Typescript describes photographs of Eugene d'Orange, Scottish-Spanish poet and artist who lived in Santa Monica. He was photographed with two young women- Valeska Radd and June Diebold. Most photos show d'Orange telling Radd and Diebold their fortunes. All show d'Orange and Radd wearing the keffiyeh (an Arabic headscarf) on the beach.
