Description

Three women in front of an outbuilding styled as a Hawaiian abode with bamboo siding and a Hawaii travel poster on the door, perhaps on the property of Jack Donovan (136 Georgina Ave.). The woman on the left wears a blouse in a tropical print and a lei. The woman seated in front also wears a lei and might be the "Clair Neville" referenced on the negative sleeve.
Jack Donovan (John Francis Donovan III, 1894-1981), actor, producer and architect, built a house at 136 Georgina in 1926. The city disputed the legality of about 40 rental units that he later built at the adjacent property at 128 Georgina and legal battles ensued.
