Inscriptions Upon Tablets. 1 Tablet: "Dedicated to advance knowledge and culture among all people-Relieveing [sic] the distressed in body, mind or spirit - Cultivating a love for the beautiful in art and nature - Fostering an interest in and love of music and the drama - and fo [sic] promoting all things which elevate and refine mankind." 1 Tablet "Mount Helic Nature Theatre: For inspiration and use of the people. Lovingly dedicated dedicated to the memory of their mother, Many Carpenter Yawkey, who, loved this mountain summit and the inspiring view. By Cyrus Carpenter Yawkey and Mary Yawker [sit] White, Easter 1925." 1 tablet (a small one placed below the above.) "In loving memory of Mary White, 1866-1925."
