Gordone De Lagniel (born Mayes Dickens Donoho and also known as Maggie), was a singer and socialite, active in the 1940s and 1950s. She is mentioned performing singing in various L.A. Times articles during this period. A 1941 city directory for Los Angeles lists her as Gordone DeLagniel, and gives her profession as Musician, and her address as 3100 West Adams Blvd.
Gordone De Lagniel dressed to perform Shakespearean songs at the annual Ebell club luncheon to celebrate the birthday of Shakespeare. She is wearing a Shakespearean-inspired costume with an ostrich feather-trimmed hat, a fur-trimmed shawl, gown and parasol. Behind her is flight of stairs.
