This image is of cast members of "O.K. by Me," including: Pearle Jennings (left), Peggy O'Connell (second from right) and Judith Evans (right). The director, Louise Glaum, can also be seen holding what appears to be a play bill.
This production was referenced by two Los Angeles Times articles, "Stage Farce Offered at Beaux Arts Theater." 11 Oct. 1952, and "Beaux Arts Will Reopen." 19 Sept. 1952.
Louise Glaum was the director of this production of "O.K. By Me," a play by Sheldon Shepard. Mrs. Glaum was an actress, drama teacher and director, who was active in the Los Angeles area for over 60 years. Originally known as one of the first "vamp" actresses, she later opened several theaters in Los Angeles and an acting school.
