Barbara Ludwig as Gretel and (possibly) Charlie Marie Gordon as Hansel, perform center stage in a Santa Monica Civic Opera production of "Hansel and Gretel." The singers stand within a cottage interior set with a fireplace and stone chimney, a curtained window and door. Three brooms are propped against the wall. A table with stools, bowls, and other knick-knacks complete the set. Balcony view of stage and orchestra pit. Performed at Barnum Hall, Santa Monica.
