Loren Mendell and R. B. Reinhart fall several hours short of their intended 300 hour endurance flight, but regardless have set a new record.

Text from newspaper caption: Getting Filled Up and the Bristles Taken Off Food and a shave were the firt desire of R. B. Reinhart and Loren W. Mendell when they came down after nearly 247 hours in the air. Reinhart is shown having his first regular meal sitting up in bed at the Biltmore with his wife sitting beside him. Mendell is getting ready to enjoy the shave.
