Photograph of letter where Aimee McPherson talks about how much she enjoyed the Foursquare Gospel Lighthouse at Tahoe Cedars.
Aimee McPherson was widely known for being an alleged kidnapping victim in 1926.
Aimee McPherson convinced her followers to purchase real estate for Angelus Temple and was being charged with a fraud suit for taking commission on the transaction.
From the letter: "Dear Mr. Henry: Back here in the hustle and flurry of a busy city I certainly remember the delicious restfulness and endearing beauty of Lake Tahoe. I enjoyed every minute of my visit there."
