A crowd gathers on the sand at Venice Beach the day after Aimee Semple McPherson disappeared from the same beach. The crowd stands across the mid-ground, and most face towards the left. All wear jackets at the beach. A woman in the foreground at right sits on the beach next to a pile of sand. At left, a man in a suit walks towards camera. Behind and to the right of him, a few kids play in the sand. Buildings rise behind the throng of people in the distance at center. On one of the buildings it reads, "HOTEL CADILLAC."
