Alejandro V. Martinez assumes charge of the Mexican consulate in Los Angeles, succeeding Consul Joaquin Terrazas. His first official duty will be to tour all of the communities in Southern California which have a large Mexican population in order to familiarize himself with the problems of the local consulate.
