Mrs. Frances Dudrey on the first day of her trial. She was charged with manslaughter in the death of Thomas Donlean, a news vendor who was selling newspapers on Los Feliz Boulevard when he was struck by Dudrey's car. She was accused of being under the influence of alcohol.
