The theme of the 1931 forty-second annual Rose Parade was "Dreams in Flowers"
Trumpeter (Edna Goss) marching with sign on trumpet in front of two boys in golfing togs carrying poles with a banner reading "Dawn," balanced by 4 women holding tennis racquets and banner streamers. The "Dawn" float that followed was entered by the American Bureau of Chiropractic. - Caption
