This photograph appears in Peggy Hamilton’s Los Angeles Times feature "Fashions," June 17, 1928, pg. H3.
Howard Greer (1896-1974) was a fashion and costume designer for theater and film who worked in Paris from the end of WWI up to 1921, and then in the United States. In 1927 he left Paramount and started his own couture house and continued to work in fashion and costume design until his retirement in 1962.
