Text reads: Mount Wilson. Night panorama of cities and towns as viewed recently from the summit of Mount Wilson in Southern California, tall peak of the Sierra Madre range back of Pasadena. This picture was made during an exposure of one hour. The points of light shown in the view represent street lights which illuminate thorofares in Pasadena, Los Angeles, Alhambra, Culver City, Huntington Park, Inglewood and cities of the Long Beach district (at extreme left) where live a population of approx 2,000,000 people. Travelers to Mt. Wilson pronounce the night panorama shown here to be one of the world's most spectacular views.
