- Text reads: 2190 - 2191 - 2192 - 2193 2194 Saddle Peak, 1929. Stone menagerie on summit of Sa[ddle] Peak near Balibu [sic] Beach, great sa[ndsto]ne monoliths that suggest seals, camels and other animals. "Giant's mouth" at right. Elevation 2850 feet, once the bed of the sea. [crossed out:] Also pectons or scallops, shells and matrices in sandstone on same summit, shells 8 in. in width.
