A mile in elevation above some of Southern California's flower gardens and orange groves are snowfields where in negatives enclosed co-eds on a late November week-end built snow men--"just had to get a man somehow"--and modelled a very expressive "snow bear" in honor of the California bear, official state "animule." One view shows Grace Healy offering the bear a cup of snow
