- Written by a “Frater Marius” (colophon) in Italy (Verona?) in the second half of the fifteenth century, to judge from the teardrop “a,” southern “qui” abbreviation, general roundish appearance of the script, the invisible ruling, and the Veronese watermark. Sold at Sotheby’s in June 1988 (lot #82) to Krown & Spellman. Bought from them by Richard and Mary Rouse in July 1988. Given to UCLA in 2005.
