Description: Dr. Raymond L. Carey selecting a honeybee with a forceps. Dr. Carey’s laboratory was one of a half dozen places in the world that used honeybee venom to treat arthritis. One of the causes of arthritis is a lack of oxidation which is stimulated by the venom from a honeybee sting.
