Description: Aerial view from the Tupolev ANT-25 long-range Soviet airplane that Mikhail Gromov, Andrei Yumashev, and Sergei Danilin piloted from Moscow to a field outside San Jacinto, CA. The flight broke the record for longest non-stop flight, and helped to popularize the polar air route from Europe to North America. July 14, 1937.
