Jimmy Mundy was an arranger, composer, and jazz saxophonist. He worked with popular musicians such as Bennie Goodman, Count Bassie and Earl Hines.
Leonard Reed started his career as a dancer, became an all-around entertainer. Later he kept a booking office in Hollywood.
Otho Lee Gaines was born in Houston, Texas in 1914. He was a composer and vocalist, and a founding member of the Delta Rhythm Boys. He died in Helsinki, Finland in 1987.
Louise Beavers was a well known African American film and television actress. She was a member of the Sigma Gamma Rho sorority and in 1976 was posthumously inducted into the Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame. - Description
