Julian Rainey was the first black lawyer to join the legal staff of the city of Boston. Walter Gordon met him while seeking admission to Harvard. He had a Boston accent and acted like a Boston Irishman.
Cassie Harris worked at the Dunbar Hotel. She was socially active, and a charter member of the organization 13 Aides. She was married to Paul Harris, a cook. - Description
