Clothilde Woodard was active in Alpha Kappa Alpha (AKA) sorority activities, as well as in the Q-ettes (Wives of Omega Men) organization.
Allen C. Woodard, III, attended UCLA and Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles. Once he received his real estate broker's license, he became active in fighting racial restrictions on property ownership and occupation. He also served as President of West View Hospital Organization, supporting the efforts of African American physicians seeking to work at Los Angeles hospitals. He was active in many community organizations, such as the NAACP and YMCA, and also an active member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. He died in 1984. - Description
