- Men knead and roll dough in a large room. Picture is related to the landslide in Elysian Park, the men may be baking for the thousands of spectators who came to view the landslide aftermath on Riverside Drive. The landslide began as a small crack in the earth in November of 1937, widened to a meandering zig-zag, and ultimately dumped tons of rock and dirt onto the Drive.
