Text from back of photograph: Janet Jones, I think you're a stinker, says chorus girl Mae Thompson (Diane Hart). Her roommate Janet Jones (Vera-Ellen) looks at her in a blank amazement. The story had got around the Mercury Theatre, Edinburgh, where both the girls work, that Janet is engaged to a millionaire, B.G. Bruno. Janet, in fact, has never met him, and this is her first knowledge of the rumored engagement. A scene from Happy-Go-Lovely, the Associated British-Marcel Hellman production in Technicolor starring David Niven, Vera-Ellen and Cesar Romero. Bruce Humberstone directs.
