Sketch of a figure wearing a modified kimono style coat with a collar and wide-cuffed sleeves. It appears to have a tie closure at the breastline and has a tied sash belt at the waist. The on seam side pockets and the facing down the front of the coat have top-stitching. There is also an inset sketch of similar style "kimono" coat without the belt, collar and cuffs. The figure is also wearing a wide brimmed hat. A swatch of multi-colored (wool?) fabric in a herrignbone design is included.
Text: "tie yourself into a warm bodied coat big & easy on top-- unlined of cowesl(?); "3506" [design]; "3[in.] facing leather"; "under collar leather"; "Bonnie Cashin July '75"
- 2 black & white sketches with 1 swatch attached
