Against a background of rolling green hills and a river, native Canadians are depicted interacting with each other. In the foreground, an older woman is shown cooking for a group surrounding her. To her left is a young man wearing graduation robes and holding a feather. Behind them, two women are talking; one is holding a clipboard and wearing an AIDS ribbon. To the right, a young boy is being handed a bowl by a kneeling older man. The poster suggests that native people can and should take a leadership role in prevention the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing support for those already infected.
