Date on back of poster, 2006, reflects when the vendor received the copy later acquired by the UCLA Library.
Austrian soccer star Helge Payer is shown bare-chested facing the viewer. He plays as a goal keeper, suggesting the importance of behaving defensively to keep the AIDS virus out of your body. He is looking straight at the onlookers and his hands are open in such a way that he is defending his goal. There is a glowing light behind him, and his hands seem to be holding an invisible soccer ball. Two condoms, still in their packages, are shown on the bottom right of the poster; one has an inscription ASK FOR, askö wien. The inscription is followed by a website www.askoe-wien.at (a sports related website). The other condom has the logo of AIDS HILFE which is a drawing of a outline of a house with the AIDS ribbon on it. The words AIDS HILFE appear on the bottom of the logo.
